Resilience Retreat

October 9 - 11, 2026

LITTLE SUAMICO, WI

Registration Closes Friday, September 25th

Retreat Overview

Explore resilience and how it relates to your life. Train an adaptive nervous system that understands how to manage stress. This retreat focuses on rituals such as Myofascial release, yoga, breath work, nature immersion, meditation, reiki, and journaling which will help you recognize signs of burnout and build a resilience toolbox

During this weekend, Becky, Ella and Angie will guide you through resilience practices that will heighten your physical and mental awareness of your body’s limitations and needs in relation to stress. Every human experiences some form of stress and sometimes the stress meter tops out, forcing you to take notice. It is our hope that this retreat gives you the opportunity to participate in resilience practices that you can implement into your everyday life to prevent and treat burnout.

Throughout the weekend there are numerous opportunities to participate in resilience awareness and burnout prevention practices. Ella, Becky and Angie curated this weekend to highlight some of their favorite resilience tools. Opportunities for resilience include; Myofascial release and lymph centered yoga practices, individual and group Reiki sessions, guided explorations of nature through Shinrin Yoku practices (Nature Bathing), informative sessions surrounding the implications of stress and how to build resilience (physical, mental, and emotional), and much more! You will also take home a complementary MFR tool. It is our hope that you leave the weekend well informed, with some resilience practices in your tool kit.

What to Expect

Our retreat takes place at Golden Light Healing, a sacred and serene sanctuary that offers everything we need to support a truly restful and rejuvenating weekend. Nestled in nature, it provides the perfect backdrop for deep healing and spiritual connection.

We planned this retreat with careful intention. Our main goal for this weekend is to provide you with some new and maybe some familiar resilience practices that you can put to use this weekend and integrate into your everyday life. Before arrival at the retreat center you will be sent an evaluation to help you gauge where you land currently on the burnout and resilience scale. We will use this evaluation as a tool to help you piece together an effective toolkit to support where you are at. Each day you can expect a balanced rhythm of guided activities. Nourishing, delicious meals will be lovingly prepared to support your body alongside yoga, MFR, Reiki, and forest therapy sessions. Included in your retreat cost is a 45 minute private Reiki session, complementary MFR tool and Resilience Workbook.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll explore resilience practices and rituals that can easily be woven into your everyday life. We hope you find resilience and some tools to carry with you long after the retreat ends. This is more than a weekend getaway, it is an invitation to reconnect with yourself, recharge your energy, and return home with increased nervous system awareness.

Remember that this weekend is about resilience. If you are overwhelmed with all of the offerings please remember that all of our offerings are optional. Do not stress about attending each session or event. Listen to your body and honor what it is telling you. The provided journal contains an array of information and guided practices. If you do not wish to attend a session you will have the information and tools available for use at home.

PILLAR
$222

FOUNDATION
$388

PAY IT FORWARD
$500

The Pillar price is for those who struggle to meet basic needs. Paying for this retreat would be a significant hardship.

The Foundation price is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this retreat may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.

The Pay-It-Forward price is a few bucks above the actual cost of the retreat. The extra money goes toward supporting scholarships as well as future free and low-cost retreats. This is an opportunity to not only experience this retreat, but also support your fellow community members.

The price for your retreat is based on a sliding scale system.  We hope to make this retreat as financially accessible to as many people as possible. With this in mind we carefully crafted a sliding scale pricing system that allows us to keep the individual expense for the retreat low while allowing for Pay-It-Forward supporters to help subsidize the attendance of the Pillar supporters, and allow the retreat creators to be compensated for their work. Our pricing system was inspired by the work of Alexis J. Cunningfolk. Some text was taken directly from her blog with her consent. Learn more about Alexis's system, The Green Bottle Method, by clicking on the heading above (About The Sliding Scale) to help determine which price option best suits you. Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. It also respects the work of teachers and creators, like Ella, Becky & Angie, who have families to support and rent to pay. Additionally, when we are paid fairly, we are able to invest more time and resources to free and lower cost offerings.

Dietary Requests

We are able to accommodate most dietary needs. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to inform us of specific dietary requests. If your needs are great and you would like to supplement with your own food, storage and preparation areas are available.

We do encourage you to bring snacks or beverages. Water, tea and coffee are readily available. If you’d like to bring a snack for the whole group we can let you know how many people to expect and dietary restrictions.

Registration Capacity

The maximum number of participants for this retreat is 12. A minimum amount of 5 people is required in order for this retreat to run. If we do not meet this minimum you will be refunded and this event will be canceled or rescheduled.

If you have trouble during the registration process or have clarifying questions please inquire HERE and Becky will assist you.

Discount Codes & Coupons

If you have a discount code or coupon for this retreat you can let us know on the registration form.

Please note that discounts cannot be applied to the $222 program fee. Due to the nature of the sliding scale, we cannot offer a greater discount to this tier of the pricing system as this selection is already being supplemented by the higher tier amounts. If you cannot access the retreat without a discount you are encouraged to apply for financial assistance during the registration process. We strive to offer affordable and financially accessible retreats to everyone.

Collaboration

Greetings! This is Angie, the founder of Moon In Scorpio, and one of the co-hosts for this retreat. I started my yoga journey in 2016 and, nearly 10 years in, I am so excited to offer another retreat opportunity. In the past decade I have learned so much about yoga. I am so grateful that this craft has allowed me to build relationships with co-collaborators and wonderfully interesting people. I would not be on this retreat journey if I had not been reintroduced to Ella Floyd. She was a good friend to my sister, Becky, in high school. When I ventured to The Center in 2021 I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she taught yoga there. I started to take her classes and eventually she approached me with the idea of hosting a retreat. Planning a retreat intimidated and excited me. We started to brainstorm and hosted our first Grounding Retreat in the fall of 2023. The retreat was a happy growth opportunity for us. We learned the importance of taking time to honor the self and that we do have the skills to host a successful retreat. After our first experience we decided to make our retreat collaboration an annual event. Becky helped us greatly during our first retreat experience. Since then she has become an integral part of our retreat planning team. I am endlessly grateful for the unexpected turns the path of yoga takes me on. One such turn was encouraging Becky to take Ella’s yoga class way back in 2021. After Becky joined in Ella’s class the two of them rekindled their friendship. Yoga also helped me to strengthen my relationship with my sister by not only attending classes but going through teacher training together. Yoga has helped Ella, Becky and I strengthen our bonds of friendship and share our passions for the healing arts with others. The Resilience Retreat this fall will be our fourth retreat offering. Since our first experience we learned so much about ourselves, our strengths and our challenges. Each of us continues to nourish our passion for yoga and healing practices. Ella is now an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide. This certification is a great asset to our retreat offerings and is one of my favorite parts of the retreat. Becky grows her love of yoga through teaching classes in Fond du Lac. She is a Certified Reiki Practitioner and is working on her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has a great gift for guided meditations. You can look forward to her guided moon meditation this year. I continue to work towards my RYT-500 certification. I recently completed courses through Yoga Medicine on Yoga History, Yoga Nidra, and Yin & Meditation. I am looking forward to integrating some of the skills I’ve learned into this year’s retreat. We thank you for your interest in our retreat and hope to get to know you this fall!
